PALS Provider (Online Course Skills Appointment)

Is the entire course online? No. The cognitive portion is online followed by a megacode skills session with a live instructor. After clicking register you will choose a course date and time for your skills session appointment. 

Prerequisite: Students must be able to read basic ECG rhythms and be proficient in BLS.

Are there any CEU's (Continuing education units) available? Yes, 8 total CEU's

Is there any mandatory precourse material? Yes, the American Heart Association PALS Precourse Self-Assessment the link for which will be emailed to you. 

How can I prepare for the course? You can purchase the PALS Preparatory Course. It is interactive and will instruct and test you on Heartblocks, Assessment, ECG rhythms, Pharmacology,Megacode and written exam practice. 

Is there a textbook? Not required if you are taking the online course. There is, sold separatly, the 300 page PALS textbook with updated AHA 2020 guidelines.
